Rebuild.

Findings alone build nothing.

Your team and your service providers do the building. Before that, the architecture is set: what gets built, what does not, in what order. I draw it up with you and then lead the build.

Situation

Sound familiar?

After the documentMany consulting projects end with a document.

Then the harder part begins.

Everyone with their own planThe agency, sales, the software and the team are meant to build.

Each with their own plan and the daily workload breathing down their neck.

After a few monthsEveryone is building on their own again.

And the document sits in a folder.

Whoever draws the architecture also leads the build.

That is rarely down to the people. Usually all that is missing is the decision everyone can line up behind.

A fit ifThe verdict is in. Now it is time to build.
OtherwiseIf there is no written verdict yet, meaning Findings or a Decision Letter, it starts with a Consultation or a Forensic. If you come with a clear task, I write the verdict as the first part of the Rebuild.

What becomes possible

  • Everyone builds to the same architecture.
  • What gets built is what has been decided, in the order that has been set.
  • In the end it runs without me. Your team operates what has been built.

Who takes on what

I

  • draw up the architecture with you
  • talk beforehand to each person who is meant to build
  • lead the build and check that what gets built is what the architecture says
  • step in when something deviates
  • check against the criteria and hand over

You

  • approve the architecture
  • provide resources, access and a clear mandate
  • sign off the result

Your team and your service providers

  • build to the architecture
  • report in figures every month

One exception: I build and run ad accounts myself. There, the judgement is the build.

How I go about it

Two parts.

  1. The architectureBefore anyone starts, it is settled what gets built, what does not, in what order and by whom. The basis is a written verdict. If Findings or a Decision Letter already exist, the architecture builds on them.
  2. Site managementThe team, sales, marketing, software and service providers build. I lead the build and check that what gets built is what the architecture says.

The Rebuild runs as a mandate, with no fixed end. The start is always individual.

What you plan for

  • contacts in the team and at the service providers who do the building
  • your team’s time for the build, alongside the day-to-day
  • your approval of the architecture and, at the end, the sign-off

Document

The architecture.

When two parties contradict each other, it applies. It sets out:

What gets built.

What does not get built.

In what order.

Who builds.

How to tell it is done.

The architecture: cover page and chapters, contents left as blanks

At the end there is an operating manual for every system built, for the team and service providers to work with.

How to tell a build is done

  • What the architecture says has been built. Signed off point by point.
  • Every criterion from the start has been checked.
  • For every system built, it is written down how your team runs it.

The mandate itself continues.

What follows

A Rebuild can end here.

If someone is then to hold what has been built, the Direction Mandate follows. It holds the architecture. That is a decision of its own.

Decided

Four shops, many service providers. And every country wanted to go its own way again.

All countries stay in one system. Who maintains what, and where, is settled.

Found: Products and URLs were shifted back and forth between the shops. There was no brand architecture.

Visibility is rising again, in every market. No country has left.

Conversation

Is the decision made, and nobody there to lead the build?

Twenty minutes, free of charge. Afterwards we know where the Rebuild begins. The Rebuild runs as a mandate. You know what it costs before we start. If another format fits better, I will tell you.

How the call works
